Autumn semester intake — academic year 2025/2026
Al Safa International University in Tobruk welcomes secondary school graduates and students wishing to transfer from other universities. Places are limited and subject to the entry requirements.
The application journey
Four clear steps from completing the application to final enrolment.
The student enters their details, selects a faculty, and attaches the required documents.
The Admission & Registration Office checks that the file is complete and the entry requirements are met.
Fees are paid as announced by Financial Affairs, and a payment receipt is issued.
Enrolment is completed and the student receives their student number and university email.
Entry requirements
Detailed requirements for each faculty are announced by the Admission & Registration Office through the WordPress dashboard.
Student registration form
All fields are required. Submissions are sent to the official email of the Admission & Registration Office and are never displayed publicly.
Academic support programmes
The support programmes announced by the university for the autumn semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
Refer 4 new students
A full tuition waiver for anyone who refers four new students.
Memorisers of the Holy Qur’an
A full scholarship for those who have memorised the Holy Qur’an.
Transferring students
A discount for students transferring from other universities.

Tuition fees
The approved fees for the 2026/2027 academic year, in Libyan dinars, as set out in the university’s two official fee schedules.

Registration and re-registration fee for Libyan students: 125 LYD — non-refundable.

Registration and re-registration fee for international students: 150 LYD — non-refundable.
Payment schedule
- Registration fee and first instalment: at the start of registration.
- Second instalment: before the mid-term examination period.
- Third instalment: before the final examinations of the semester.
- In the event of withdrawal, the full semester fees are payable at the start of the semester.
Discounts and exemptions in the fee schedule
- Full 100% scholarship for those who have memorised the Holy Qur’an.
- 100% discount for students achieving a 100% semester average, and for those publishing distinguished research.
- 30% reduction for students with special needs.
- 15% reduction for siblings studying together.

- If more than three courses are taken in a single semester, the full semester fees apply.
- Equivalency and transfer from other official educational institutions: 150 LYD across all programmes, charged once upon submitting the equivalency application.
